Rev Nick Kirk is our Vicar. He is married to Kim and together they have 6 children. Nick is now in his sixth year at Christ Church. His passion is to see the Wanganui community transformed by the power of the gospel. He writes, "If we fail to be missional we fail to be a Christian church. The thrust of the gospel is outward focused - into the community in the power of the Holy Spirit. Now more than ever we need Christians who have eyes to see and a desire to do what the Father is doing." Nick was a Registered Nurse prior to receiving his call to ordination. Now with ten years of ministry under his belt he feels these have been the most satisfying years of his working life. "What better way is there to live life than by following Jesus?"
