The Christ Church Prayer Chain |
Definition: A general prayer chain is a network of individuals who will receive prayer requests and thanksgivings, forward them to the next available person in the network, and will pray immediately for each request.
The importance of the prayer chain is that it faithfully intercedes on behalf of others in need by lifting up specific requests, concerns and emergency situations. How does The Prayer Chain work? Whenever anyone has a prayer need or request they simply phone the Prayer Chain Coordinator. Details are found in the weekly Parish News Bulletin. Once contact is made and the prayer matter is established, the request is then telephoned on to the next link person of the chain list and so forth until all the team has been telephoned.
Prayer requests are kept confidential.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6
